A post dedicated (mostly) to the troublesome duo...

As I look at all my left over pictures from the month, I noticed a theme. Most of the pictures are of Zack and Aubrey doing what they do best. Let's take a look at what these two have been up to this past month...

What happens when your sister and her friends decide to have fun with their makeup...

My little guy growing up much too quickly...

Our new window decor...

The time he spilled yogurt all over the ground and ran to grab a towel to clean it up himself...

Pretending to be asleep in the car...

The reason this little guy needed a new haircut this month... Moon Gak!

The day we discovered the best way to order Gluten-free pizza at Pizza Pie Cafe. Half order ham and cheese/Half order dessert pizza!

The day I had the brilliant idea to move Aubrey's dresser out of her room and into ours so she and Zack would stop climbing on top of it...

My oh so "helpful" laundry companions.

The day he fell asleep standing in the corner of the couch...

Cheeeese!

Crazy/Silly day at preschool

Cleaning up the wall she completely covered in marker. For the second time. In ten minutes... Sigh.

These two sure do love their baby cousin, Evan.

This kid puts EVERYTHING on his head...

I bet you can't guess how our blinds ended up looking like this? Also, the reason we finally decided to invest the money to buy a window with blinds between the glass for this door. Can't wait for our new glass to come in!

The day I carried two sleeping babies into the house from the car, and kept them asleep!

The time Zack sat on the potty, because he does everything Aubrey does, and he actually went.

If all these pictures didn't make you tired, then maybe you better lend me some of your extra energy. I could use a bit more of that stuff to survive living in this house!

The wrap up...

Some highlights from our stay in Moab.

*Eating dinner at our favorite Ma and Pop diner- Milts. Twice.
Exploring downtown.
*Hiking, and climbing on everything in sight.
*Having fun with our family.
*Buying rocks.
*Finding restaurants with Gluten-Free options- It's harder than you might think.
*Playing with cousins.
*Swimming in the hotel pool- even if the water was a bit cold.
*Having a sleepover with Michelle and Katie (for Maddie and Brookie- since we have too many kids to fit in one hotel room)
*Staying in a hotel room that had a connecting doorway between our rooms.

*Not having a latch on our hotel doors to prevent the littles from escaping.
*Having a major meltdown in the middle of a restaurant.
*Laying down in the middle of the sidewalk to throw a tantrum outside of said restaurant during the dinnertime rush.
*Mom carrying two tired and hungry children out, yet again, from said restaurant (one of which was kicking and screaming) then walking the mile or so walk back to our hotel room (while one of those children continued to kick and scream the rest of the way home.)

*Taking turns going out to dinner at the most delicious Mexican restaurant, without children!
*Driving the Luxurious way. At least for Aubrey.

The kids all did amazingly well during our many adventures in the park. They are definitely outdoor lovers. Especially when they are free to move and go as they please. We may have had more than a few struggles when we were back in town or at our hotel but the good moments totally outweighed the bad. And to be honest, who doesn't get cranky when you are hot, tired and hungry? But one thing I do know for sure. I sure love my family and getting to spend time together exploring and making memories. This will definitely go down in the books as one very successful vacation!

Thanks Michelle, Katie, Andrew and Irene for being crazy enough to join us on this last minute adventure!

And it goes on....

Last time we went to Moab, we found an area the kids absolutely loved but didn't get to enjoy for long because it was so cold and windy. This time we made sure we had plenty of time to play.

The place: Sand Dune Arch.

Half of our group ended up hiking over to the Broken Arch while the other half of us stayed behind and played in the sand.
Aubrey was happy with her Daddy, so she went on the hike with the other adults.

I have no idea what Brooklyn is doing here... but it makes me giggle ever single time I look at it!

A favorite place to climb.

Last stop: Upper Delicate Arch Viewpoint.
We also made a quick stop at the Delicate Arch Viewpoint but most of the kids were either napping or too tired to hike the half a mile to the viewpoint.
If you look reeeeally closely, you can see the famous Utah arch in the background.

To be continued, once more...
