Thanks for taking these last few pictures Michelle.

Random picture #1: Madison and our next door neighor Cole going for a ride.
Milestone #2: Madison loves eating big kid food. So far the only thing we have given her that she hasn't really enjoyed was a taste of guacamole from our meal at Cafe Sabor (she loves avacado but it was a little spicer then I thought I guess). Today I actually let Maddie feed herself and she loved it. She was eating yogart so I would put some on the spoon, hand it to her and she would eat it then hand me back the spoon with an "aaah" so that I would get more on her spoon. It was so cute and way too much fun. Of course she was a little bit messy but it was worth it.
Random picture #2: I just like this picture

Milestone #3/Random picture #3: Madison is actually growing some hair. Here's the catch. It's curly! I don't know the first thing about taking care of curly hair. Right now it is a little bit out of control because it isn't quite long enough to make it curl quite right. But it is still cute anyway.
So the other day I had one of those embarassing mother moments but due to the fact that I had so much else to say about the weekend I left this part out but I thought it was too good to not share. On sunday we went to church with my parents and because it was my old ward and everyone in their ward still knows me I some how got myself tricked into getting up with the relief society to sing a song in sacrament for fathers day. Since Madison happened to be in one of those "if you put me down I'm going to scream" moods I decided to bring her up with me while I sang. So we ended up standing in the middle of the back row and we sang the song and then everyone decided to sit down where they were instead of going back down into the congregation. So we were stuck right in the middle of a bunch of people (with not much room to even move) My first reaction was "oh great now I am not only on display but I have absolutely nothing to keep Maddie entertained." There really was only about 15 minutes left in the meeting so I decided to try everything I could to keep her from grabbing the hair of the lady in front of us and to just sit still. I finally turned her around and laid her head on my shoulder and she quickly calmed down. I was so excited because this usually doesn't work. So I am sitting there and Karl my good husband was sitting in front of us and he kept pointing at me and I was just thinking "yeah I can't believe it either" and then all of a sudden I got hit in the head with a tree!!! What I didn't realize was that instead of Madison actually being a good little girl she was actually just trying to reach the fake tree that was behind my head. By this point the whole congregation and choir where all laughing at me. I'm sure my face was cherry red! After this I quickly put back the tree and crawled out of all the people to make a run for the door. I learned a great lesson that day though, If it seems to good to be true... it probably is. :)
Then Friday morning we went and picked Maddie up at Grandma and Grandpa N's house and then continued on to Grandma and Grandpa C's house for the rest of the weekend. Friday night Karl and I once again were able to leave Madison behind and went to a play with my sisters Michelle and Katie. The play we went to was Indiana Bones. The plays at Desert Star where we went are always some sort of spoof so it is always fun to see their interpretation. Saturday morning we woke up bright and early to start out on our "big" family outing. I don't know if any of you have heard about it before butin order to keep people from going out of state for vacations this year the city is offering a really cool deal this summer where you buy a pass for $20 which pays for you to go to as many of the 12 events offered that you can in a day. We thought this would be fun since one of the things on the pass was the zoo and we have been wanting to go for quite sometime now. So we started our day out by heading to the zoo. We went with my mom, sisters Katie and Michelle and my brother Andrew.
After the zoo we headed over to Red Butte Gardens.

After Red Butte we went and had lunch at the Lion House, which was also included in the price of our ticket. When we were done with lunch my mom took Madison and went home (by this point they were both beat) and the rest of us continued on. Next we went to the Clark Planetarium where we were able to watch a 3D Imax movie. We all felt a lot more knowlegable after visiting the planetarium. This is Karl and I kissing on Mars!Four generations of Cleggs. Great Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy and Maddie
