Events of June...

Since I am still so far behind... here is a picture recap of some of the fun things we have done this summer so far.

Since our summer is already quickly coming to an end, (Maddie starts school on July 25th) we have been trying to get in as many fun activities as possible. We really have been having a wonderful summer and are looking forward to many more fun adventures in the coming weeks.

I hope all of you are having some good times too.

Now, I think it's about time we get going on another big adventure.

Jump, jump, jumpin'...

My cousin Audrey is 9 months pregnant and needed some distracting the other day...

We happily agreed to come and play.

Brett and Audrey have a beautiful new home with a wonderful yard that is perfect for the kids to run around and play.

...And since Audrey was trying to encourage that baby to come, she decided to get in on all the action.

(Disclaimer: No she was not bouncing hard- just enough to barely bounce the girls, which basically walking can do)

 I don't think it's possible to get a picture of Brookie without a messy face or messy hair... This picture  is no different.

 Brookie hurt her foot while running around. She wanted a band-aid to make it feel better but it kept falling off when she jumped... Audrey kindly offered to put one on her arm instead so it wouldn't fall off. Brooklyn happily accepted. Problem solved.

 What a fun evening we had. Thanks Audge and Brett for entertaining us!

Cake Smashing...

It's only been 20 days since her birthday but I'm finally getting around to posting her party pictures...

We'll let the pictures do the talking.

 Aubrey had no issues digging in to that cake. Actually, we had a hard time keeping her hands away from it long enough to light a candle (that she couldn't blow out) or take a before picture.

 It was even plate licking good. :)

Getting caught up...

This is the first of a series of new posts... I have gotten WAY behind with the move and lack of internet.

We are officially all moved in to our new house!!! And we are loving every minute of it.

(The official handing over of the keys!- Finally, they are ours!)

  We've been quite busy with projects and unpacking but we are finally starting to feel more settled.

The second we got the keys, my sister Katie and I dashed in to the house to begin painting. We were actually able to completely paint 3 bedrooms, the kitchen/dining/family room and all the hallways in just over a 24 hour time frame.Thanks go to Katie, Michelle, Nana, Dad and Andrew for helping us paint and Mom and Robbie for helping with the kids! We could not have done it without you!

We are unpacked enough now that it looks like we are all moved in but the house is still messy enough we just look like slobs. :) But at least we are in right? I will post pictures of the finished product as soon as I feel not so slobbish anymore.

Thank you everyone for helping us get completely moved in. Seriously, we are pretty lucky to have such wonderful family and friends.
