Pictures without a home...

I always end up with a bunch of random pictures at the end of the month that don't really have a specific place to be put.
These are those.

There's too many kids in this bed...

One night after all the kids were in bed I heard Aubrey get up and move around a bit. I went down the hall to check on her but first went in to Maddie's room to put something away. There were toys all over the floor so I bent over to pick a few up so she wouldn't fall if she had to get up in the night. I bent over to pick up a toy and looked down and say two eyes staring right back up at me. Totally freaked me out! Apparently Aubrey decided sleeping in the broken drawer was more fun than sleeping in her bed.

We have had an exceptionally rainy summer this year. This was one time we got caught in the rain.

The day I had all four kids dressed and ready to go by 8:30 in the morning. A task I thought was nearly impossible.

The girls are back to sharing a bed again which hasn't happened since before Maddie started first grade and had a broken arm. It was a pretty big move we made, but you'll have to wait for more on that later.

This little girl loves doing things she sees her big sisters do. Especially when she gets to be the helpful big sister. This day she was snuggling with her sleepy brother on the couch.

And that concludes our crazy, busy summer.

August iphone shots...

My guy growing up much too quickly.

A night out at the Dudes Food, food truck.

Pictures for Daddy, since we all know how much he loves those turtles.

School clothes shopping.

A night out with just our babes.

I love when they both put themselves to sleep.

Trying a new hair do.

Let's just say we won't be trying that one again.

The girl who can sleep anywhere.

Family cuddle time.

Pretty sunset.

I got called to the office two times the first week of school because Maddie had fallen in the mud and needed a change of clothes...

And that concludes our August iphone shots.

Miss Maddie turns 7...

Wonder Woman made a stop by our house again this year to decorate for Madison's birthday. Somehow she managed to get inside this year.

The birthday girl, with sun in her eyes.

Robbie and Brittany invited us all over for dinner on Madison's actual birthday. Who can turn down brisket, ribs, salmon and dutch oven potatoes???

Maddie got another Journey Girl doll again this year, just like she wanted. She was pretty excited.

Her actual birthday party didn't actually happen until the next day though. The plan was to have a big family camp out in Grandma Jo and Papa Ken's back yard with a movie on the big screen, but we were rained out so the party moved inside.
We still managed to have fun.

She also got the rainbow loom bracelet making kit she's been asking us for forever!

Out of all the places she could choose to sit, she chose here...

I hope your birthday was everything you had hoped for little Lady.
Happy Birthday!!!!

Flips and tricks...

We told the girls a few weeks ago that they finally get to take dance lessons this year. To say they were excited would be an understatement. This is a moment they have looked forward to for a very long time but with not living in one place for any length of time or having the funds to do so, we have put it off for far too long. Although they will be in separate classes, they will both be taking a combo fun class which includes ballet, tumbling and jazz.

Although dance has not actually begun yet, the girls have had a fun time practicing their moves lately.

If you've spent any amount of time around Brooklyn lately you would know just how much this girl loves to do her tricks. She literally cart wheels everywhere she goes. Down the hallway, at the grocery store, in the parking lot. Where ever she is, she's probably doing a cart wheel. This day she was practicing her hand stands.

Madison is so excited to take ballet. She mostly spent her time practicing her jumps.

Madison is also getting pretty good at her hand stands as well. And even Aubrey got in on the fun. Watching this girl try to do a cart wheel is hilarious.

She played so hard she soon crashed on the chair for a nice long nap.

I sure love my girls!

And this is what Zack did, while the girls all did their tricks.
